Ashley Ziegler, DPT

Ashley has participated in several sports over the years including taekwondo, rugby, basketball, softball and volleyball. However, Ashley found her passion for physical therapy through volunteering with Tri My Best Triathlon, an adaptive race for children with developmental disabilities in Southeastern Wisconsin. Through volunteering Ashley became committed to providing excellent, individualized care for each patient to allow them to return to the things they love most.

Ashley graduated from the University of Dayton in Ohio in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science with a concentration in Exercise and Movement Science as well as a minor in Psychology. Throughout her time as Dayton, Ashley worked as an ABA therapist assistant for children who have Autism. She also has experience in creating personalized exercise plans for children with Individual Education Plans.

She then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois in 2022. While completing her doctorate, she had the opportunity to engage in research, teaching, and treating underserved populations. She has worked with a multitude of patients in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals and outpatient clinics. She has experience in treating various adult conditions including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical joint replacements, post-stroke, parkinson’s, rib fractures, COPD, multiple sclerosis, amputations, post-MI, vertigo and post-mastectomy. She also has experience treating children and young adults with conditions and disorders including SMA, torticollis, autism, down's syndrome and cerebral palsy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association which allows her to stay up to date with the most recent research to ensure her patients receive the best care.

During her free time, Ashley is an animal lover and enjoys walking her two dogs. She enjoys when her patients show her pictures of their pets or share their knowledge on things they are passionate about.

Hannah graduated from Herzing University in Brookfield, WI in 2021 with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. Previously, she also graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy and Psychology.

Hannah found her passion for physical therapy after a lower leg injury in a high school volleyball game resulting in the need for rehabilitative care in order to return to sport. Growing up as a New Berlin, WI native and attending New Berlin Eisenhower High School, she is excited to be back in her hometown providing care for individuals of all ages and conditions.

Hannah has a strong interest in treatment of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Specifically

wanting to learn and work more with patients who have Parkinson’s Disease and the Rock Steady Boxing program led her to Fastback Physical Therapy. She has been a member of a kickboxing studio for several years herself, so involvement in the Rock Steady Boxing program is only an added plus!

Lexi Dollhopf, DPT

Lexi graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. As an injury prone high school athlete, she found a passion for rehabilitation while shadowing the athletic trainer at her high school and receiving physical therapy for many foot/ankle injuries.

During clinical rotations in graduate school Lexi maintained her passion for rehabilitating athletes, but also discovered the joy of working with the geriatric population. During an 8 week clinical rotation at FastBack, Lexi learned to love outpatient neurological treatment through assisting in Rock Steady Boxing and treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease.

Lexi values the importance of building patient relationships and educating patients on how to move in the most efficient and effective way possible. Lexi is eager to work with each patient to create a plan of care that will truly have a positive impact on their daily life!

Justin has a great love of sports and has been an athlete his entire life. Participating in team sports, such as football and basketball, has instilled in him the importance of teamwork and physical health. Justin has spent time working as a strength and conditioning coach at a local high school and is also currently taking on clients as a personal trainer. As a PTA, Justin is highly interested in both orthopedic and neurological conditions, utilizing enthusiastic patient-centered care to assist his patients in their journey of recovery.

Patrick Barron, PT

Patrick founded FastBack Physical Therapy in 2018, and opened the doors in New Berlin on January 1st, 2019.  Patrick graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI in 2000 with a Masters of Physical Therapy. With a major in Biology, but a personal background working with his father in home construction, he gravitated toward a physical therapy approach based on building a solid foundation with some creative design.

As a PT for over 20 years, he perfected the use of corrective exercise to solve the complexities of movement that prevent your body from healing itself when injured. He added a vestibular rehab specialty (2006 Herdman certified) and has successfully treated over a thousand patients with dizziness and balance disorders.

Patrick is passionate about teaching his patients clever strategies that allow them to return to everyday tasks possible without pain, while delivering it in a way that is accessible to patients who are frustrated with high copays and deductibles.
